A Century of Craftsmanship and Culinary Heritage

Preserving Tradition, Inspiring Innovation, and Cultivating Excellence in Italian Cheese Craftsmanship

For 120 years, Latteria Perenzin has stood as a sentinel of history, preserving the wisdom handed down through five generations of cheesemakers.

Established in the late 19th century by Domenico Perenzin, the legacy passed to his son Valentino Angelo Perenzin, who secured the prestigious gold medal at the "Salon des Arts Ménagers" in Brussels in 1933. Valentino Perenzin was a man of distinction, seamlessly transitioning from the work attire he wore in the barns to care for the livestock, to a coat, cashmere scarf, and a classic Borsalino hat. This blend of practicality and creative elegance remains a hallmark of Latteria Perenzin to this day.

The Enchanted Flavour of Latteria Perenzin

Amongst our repertoire, we extend a gracious recommendation to explore Latteria Perenzin's cheese range.

In 1970, Egidio Perenzin (father of Emanuela), the third generation, took the reins of the company alongside his brother Rocco. Emanuela Perenzin, the current President of Latteria Perenzin, entered the company in 1983, marking the commencement of an unprecedented journey of cheese innovation and education.

The first organic cheese was crafted in 1987, and in 1999, the first goat cheese creations emerged. On May 1st, 2000, officially began the sales of certified organic goat cheeses. On February 14th, 2012, PER Bottega & Cheese Bar was inaugurated, a haven for cheese enthusiasts in all its glorious forms.

Today, after more than a century, Emanuela Perenzin is joined at the helm by her children, Erika and Matteo, representing the fifth generation: a family of creative minds that has fostered a profoundly harmonious team spirit.

The team at Latteria Perenzin consists of numerous young talents under the age of 30, a testament to the promising future that lies ahead for this craft.
